Timmelsjoch

High up to the pass

If you are looking for a special kind of nature and driving experience, we recommend a trip on this impressive high Alpine road. It is not called the most beautiful panoramic road in Tyrol for nothing. The Hotel Grünerhof is located directly on the route of this excursion destination. The Timmelsjoch, or Timmel for short, is a border pass between Austria and Italy and lies at an altitude of 2474 metres above sea level. It connects Ötztal with Passeier and separates Ötztal Alps from the Stubai Alps.
You can find detailed information at Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road – toll tariffs.
Holders of Ötztal Inside Summer Card can use the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road on public transport free of charge.

Another highlight is certainly the new motorbike adventure world – the Motorcycle Museum.
