Our standards are just as high as the mountains that surround us. We have incorporated all our ideas, experience and knowledge into the new Grünerhof building and realised our vision of a new dimension of well-being. Luxury, but with heart. 2-toque cuisine, but with a down-to-earth approach. The best of everything, but not too much. So that you can arrive, switch off and simply let us spoil you. And all within a manageable framework, because we want to look after all our guests exclusively and individually. After all, it’s the little details that make a holiday feel like a holiday.

From the "Hof zu Gerune" to the "Grünerhof"

Our history

For the beginnings of the Grünerhof, we have to go back more than 800 years in history. Back then, the “Hof zu Gerune” was located around 100 metres from the current hotel. In the 16th century, the Grüner house was already located at this site. Taking another leap forward, you find yourself in 1991, when your current hosts Markus and Barbara Grüner built a new farm and additional flats on the current property. Exactly 30 years later, together with their son Maximilian, they have dedicated themselves to the new hotel project, including the restaurant. Today, all three are a well-rehearsed team of hosts and have recently been rewarded with a 4-star classification.
